The Sebastiani College Advantage
FENCING FOR YOUR FUTURE
For dedicated young athletes, fencing can become an important part of their high school experience and college journey.
At Sebastiani Fencing Academy, we help young fencers develop the technical skills, competitive experience, discipline, and confidence they need to pursue their goals—both in fencing and beyond.
Whether your goal is to compete at the highest level, continue fencing in college, or simply become the best athlete you can be, we are here to help you build your path.
FENCING CAN STRENGTHEN A COLLEGE APPLICATION
Colleges look at more than grades and test scores. They want to understand who a student is, what they are passionate about, and what they have accomplished.
Long-term commitment to a demanding sport like fencing can demonstrate qualities such as:
DISCIPLINE
Consistent training requires commitment and dedication.
FOCUS
Fencing challenges athletes to think quickly, stay focused, and make decisions under pressure.
PERSEVERANCE
Every athlete experiences wins, losses, challenges, and setbacks. Fencing teaches students to keep improving.
TIME MANAGEMENT
Balancing academics, training, competitions, and other responsibilities develops valuable organizational skills.
GOAL SETTING
Fencers learn to establish goals and work toward them one practice and one competition at a time.
LEADERSHIP & CONFIDENCE
Competitive experiences can help young athletes develop confidence, independence, and leadership skills.
